Komeshan Naidoo is the Managing Director of Cheadle Thompson & Haysom.
Komeshan advises a wide range of clients that include trade unions, government agencies and state owned enterprises, and employers on all aspects of labour law.
He has specialised experience in strategic aspects of collective bargaining, organisational rights and industrial action; business transfers and the implications of s197; restructuring and retrenchments in terms of sections 189 and 189A; executive dismissals; and general terms and conditions of employment.
Komeshan also regularly appears in the Labour Courts, the CCMA and various bargaining councils and has extensive experience in advising clients on alternate dispute and conflict resolution, including mediation and facilitation, particularly in an industrial action context.
Komeshan has also lectured labour relations at the University of Johannesburg on its MCom: Business Management programme.
