Amogelang specialises in the fields of employment and public-sector law. He has advised a wide range of private and public sector clients, including state agencies, national and provincial government departments and trade unions in public sector judicial reviews and employment disputes. He has litigated in the superior courts, including the Supreme Court of Appeal, Labour Appeal Court and Constitutional Court.

Amogelang has also appeared in occupational accident inquiries in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act, amongst other tribunals.

Amogelang is recognised by Best Lawyers, an independent international ranking agency for the legal industry, for his expertise in Labour & Employment Law and Administrative & Public Law.

He obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2017 and a Certificate in Advanced Administrative Law at the Mandela Institute, University of the Witwatersrand in 2020.
