Amogelang specialises in the fields of employment and public-sector law. He has advised a wide range of private and public sector clients, including state agencies, national and provincial government departments and trade unions in employment disputes and public sector judicial reviews. He has litigated in the superior courts, including the Labour Appeal Court, Supreme Court of Appeal and Constitutional Court.
Amogelang has also appeared in occupational accident inquiries in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act, amongst other tribunals.
He obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2017, and a Certificate in Advanced Administrative Law at the Mandela Institute, University of the Witwatersrand in 2020.
